Five Bethesda pastors posing by statue

Bethesda pastors in chapel at the Watertown Campus

Bethesda distinguishes itself from other providers of services for people with developmental disabilities with our commitment to providing Christ centered care.

Meeting Spiritual Needs

The spiritual needs of the people Bethesda serves are met in a variety of ways. Full-time chaplains on our campuses offer confirmation instruction, Bible classes, chapel services and Sunday worship to individuals living on the campuses. People who live in communities often choose to worship and participate in Christian education programs and fellowship opportunities in our partner congregations. In communities where a Bethesda partner congregation does not exist, our Parish Ministry Consultants (PMCs) help people with developmental disabilities find a congregation where they can worship and become active members in the church.

The Experience
