Camp Matz
Each summer Camp Matz is the site of 12, week-long Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod Servant Events. Camp Matz is fully accessible to individuals with disabilities and is staffed by trained developmental disability professionals and direct support staff.
Case Management
Bethesda's case managers help people with developmental disabilities and their families locate and access community services, such as medical, dental, education and in-home supports.
Community Living
Bethesda community living homes are located in neighborhoods away from other Bethesda sponsored activites, such as education or work, and offer opportunities for privacy, independent activities and friendships.
Day Services
Bethesda's day services programs offer vocational development, job coaching, life skills training and leisure activities.
Home and Community-Based Services (HCS)
Bethesda works directly with people with developmental disabilities and their families to provide support services when, where and how the individuals wish to receive them. Bethesda is a licensed provider of home and community-based services in Kansas and a certified provider in Texas.
Intermediate Care Facilities - for Persons with Mental Retardation (ICF-MR)
Bethesda's ICF-MR facilities range from larger campus-style living to smaller six-person homes. People living in these facilities have Individualized Program Plans (IPPs) to help staff provide services and training that will help each individual become more independent.
Religious
Bethesda meets the spiritual needs of people with developmental disabilities both on our campuses with a full-time chaplaincy staff, and in the community with the help of our partner congregations and Parish Ministry Consultants.
Short-Term Care
Bethesda's short-term care program provides temporary services, evaluations and new experiences in a Christ-centered environment for individuals with developmental disabilities.
